Scope
This policy applies to the VisTool website, account features, online tools, and directly related services. Third-party sites, cloud platforms, and payment providers process information under their own privacy policies once you leave VisTool.
Information we may collect
- Account data: email address, nickname, avatar, user reference, authentication status, and session records.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, language, access time, request logs, and necessary security events.
- Usage data: visitor and session identifiers, page visits, tool execution results, duration, and redacted input or output summaries.
- Files and tasks: files you choose to upload, task parameters, processing status, and generated outputs.
- Transaction data: credits, orders, subscriptions, payment status, refunds, and billing records. Complete card details or payment passwords are handled by payment providers.
- Communications: feedback, contact email, attachments, and support records.
Local and cloud processing
Some tools run entirely in the browser and do not upload input to complete the task. Other tools require server conversion, file storage, AI models, or third-party APIs and therefore upload the data necessary to perform the requested task. The notice shown on each tool page governs its processing mode.
How information is used
- Provide, maintain, and improve tools, accounts, files, orders, and subscriptions.
- Authenticate users, protect accounts, prevent abuse, and investigate security incidents.
- Complete tool tasks, calculate charges, grant or deduct credits, and process refunds.
- Measure page and tool usage, diagnose errors, and evaluate product quality.
- Respond to inquiries and send necessary account, order, security, or service notices.
- Display and measure advertising where required consent or another lawful basis exists.
Service providers and sharing
We may use cloud storage, file conversion, AI, email, payment, analytics, and advertising providers. We provide only the information needed for the relevant service and require processing under contracts, applicable law, and the provider’s published policies.
We do not sell personal information except as may be separately disclosed under applicable law. Information may be disclosed to deliver services, comply with law, protect lawful interests, or with your authorization. In a reorganization, merger, or asset transfer, data may transfer subject to this policy or equivalent protection.
Retention and security
We retain information based on service needs, account status, dispute handling, financial audit, and legal obligations. Files, tasks, logs, and orders may have different retention periods. Information is deleted, anonymized, or aged out of backups when no longer needed.
We use measures such as access control, transport encryption, signed links, audit records, and backups to reduce risk, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and protect your credentials.
Your choices and rights
- View or correct profile, session, and transaction data where account features allow.
- Control cookies, local storage, and site permissions through your browser.
- Request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information, subject to records that must be retained for legal, audit, order, or security reasons.
- Withdraw consent-based processing without affecting prior lawful processing.
Use the contact page to submit a rights request. We may require reasonable identity verification to prevent unauthorized requests.
Children, updates, and contact
VisTool is not specifically directed to children. Minors should use the service with guardian guidance and should not submit unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
We may update this policy when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised date appears on this page, and material changes may also be communicated through a site or account notice.
